Jubilee has hair that gets static very easily. She doesn't like it put up in bows or pony tails or anything so it looks crazy most of the time. I thought it was funny here.

Wow! I never noticed how different their eye color was until I took this. Actually the older 5 all have similar color eyes and Maddie's are still really blue. Wonder if they'll change more green or not?
Brandon just HAD to get the dog a costume and try it on her. (Did't fit right, but the dog thinks it's the most awesome toy anyway)

Jubilee got this dolly for Christmas. It has crazy hair like Jubilee. (that was not intentional) She wanted me to take a picture of them because they "are sisters" (she and the doll)

She reminds me of Lexi and Rachel at different times. Brandon thinks she's the spitting image of Julie. I don't really see it but I didn't really know Julie as a kid so I don't know...maybe.

Jubi put the scarf on Pip's head and told me he was being a princess. She was giggling and laughing at him. He thought it was funny and was kind of baby giggling back at her.
I got some fabric for Christmas. I wanted to sew! :)
He wanted to be near me
I discovered this really magic quilt thing and wanted to try it out so I put some "Jelly Roll Fabric" in my cart on Amazon thinking one day I'd buy one roll and see how it worked. I hadn't decided on the color scheme I wanted yet so I just left the 5 I'd liked best in the cart. Brandon bought me all 5 when he bought me gifts. It takes one Jelly Roll to make one quilt top. Most Jelly rolls have 40-42 strips in them. The strips are 2.5 inches wide and as long as the fabric was wide (so 40 or 53 in long). You sew them this certain way (it's totally mindless and easy) and you can make a quilt top in an hour. (or three if you are me and have babies and kids all over you needing things....one woman somewhere has a record for doing it in 35 minutes!!!!) Anyway, I made 3 of them so far. For one, I wanted one that would be more bed sized so I borrowed some strips from this jelly roll to make the largest one. That's why this one is so small.

Granny sent some fabric cut into 3inch squares back in like August. She sent a note saying to let the girls make it into quilts for dolls or something. They've been eager to do it but I haven't had thread since May and haven't had time to sew anyway. Brandon also bought me an economy sized thread spool (did you know you can use those?) and so I got off of my machine long enough to do 2 kids' quilts with them.
Isaiah wanted to do it too so he's the other who got to make a doll sized quilt top. Emma was about to start hers when Brandon came home from work with a car full of groceries he'd picked up on the way home and needed help unloading so she didn't get to do it yet.
Totally just realized Maddie is actually lip tied.
Here's my favorite hair style for her. :) It's so cute and she'll leave it in forever. :)
Same style on Jubi...looks totally different because her hair has less curl and body. Still cute though. :) (for all of 2 minutes that she'll leave it. She's always asking me to put piggy tails in her hair but they always last a few minutes and then she's done.)
I was trying to take a picture of the game Noah and Jubi were playing in Brandon's computer chair.
Emma got done with school exceptionally fast with correct math, etc so she got to make a batch of cookies while I was cooking supper. It was her first EVER time to read from a recipe and she ended up putting something like 6 cups of sugar in here when it needed 3/4 of brown sugar and 3/4 white sugar... (so we doubled the recipe to try to fix it...) but she was proud of her attempts and it wasn't bad.
This is the first tray. There were, of course, like 50 billion other trays after we doubled the recipe.
