I was going to name this something else, but then I realized that most of the pictures are of school, so I guess it's a good title.
These aren't in the order I want them and I can't figure out how to fix it.... Blog's being mean to me today!
Jubilee at 15.5 months old (this is a reference for below)
Isaiah at 16 months old. (To me, when you start looking at all of the kids at this age, Isaiah looks the oldest. I don't know why. Maybe he has the most hair or is the most husky?)
Noah age 2. (Just because I showed all of them with their fist picture with younger sibling...)
20 weeks pregnant (I can't put these in order either. :( )
25 weeks. When I started bleeding in October, I never thought I'd be here. 25 weeks is where life saving procedures begin at most hospitals so if the baby was born from this point on, she'd have as much help as they could give her. 50-80% of babies born at this stage in the pregnancy survive.
22 Weeks
14, 16, 18 weeks
Jubilee's face is fun. :)
I thought they looked a lot a like here so I took a picture of them.
She was just cute.
Bobbi's family came to visit. Everyone has a buddy the same age as them and most of them are seated near each other (by accident) except Jubilee and her buddy. He's down between Emma and Isaiah.
Playing outside while Daddy put up the Christmas lights.
Watching daddy put up the lights
She likes the sheep
a lot...
She does NOT like being in the back of it. (I guess the blower made it scarier?)
School one day when the Christmas tree was taking up a ton of our room. (or something like that.)
She thinks she is as big as the rest of them, can you tell?
School on the stairs
This day went on and on and on and on...
She is doing school too. Or so she thinks.
and on and on and on...
...and on and on and on... we started the school day at like 8 in the morning. This is like 8 at night and she's finally finishing up the 3 pages she had to work on. It was a bad day for school.
A casualty of wet erase homeschooling methods. Dry erase is cleaner but it doesn't come off of clothes or walls or furniture like wet erase does. Wet erase, unfortunately, comes off of everything by skin. :P I go back and forth between the two because I just can't decide what is worse.
They were driving cars together on the stairs. She was doing exactly what he was. It was so cute!
One snowy day, I made the girls dresses for two of their dolls.
Which means, I got to play dolls while I designed (completely from scratch with no pattern whatsoever!) dresses for the dolls and which means I got to enjoy these cute smiles when they got to see them the first time. :)
So, since I'm in this room most of the time, maybe I'd like to be in here for schooling too. Since it can drag on for hours and hours and hours after everyone else is done and since sitting in the kitchen alone with a kid all day while the rest do whatever they want in the rest of the house is harder to monitor... I took the bookshelves out because the room felt too "heavy" and dark. (Does heavy make sense? It does to me.) This really isn't so bad. I don't feel crowded in here unless everyone leaves their chairs untucked and that's simple enough to fix.
While the big kids were doing reading or handwriting or something (I forget) that these two didn't have an equivalent... They got to read books together on the stairs.
She loves him, can you tell?
I also thought of this idea of having an incentive activity each week to work towards. If you do school poorly, (drag it out, don't pay attention, aren't serious enough about it, etc) you get a mark on your week's schedule. If you have too many marks you can't do the incentive activity. The activity might be like "make cookies" or "play playdoh" or "play kid computer" or "play a board game together/work a puzzle together"... Here are the biggest 3 doing their work. Noah is either going potty, dismissed for the while to keep Jubilee company, or has slipped off. I can't remember which it was. (Maybe he was reading on the stairs?)
...and the incentive activity we earned this week: Playdoh! :)
Jubi likes to eat it so we have to watch her closely. Notice both boys eyes are in her direction here.
Abby: "Mom, Jubilee wants to play outside."
Me: "Okay, but I need to get this food fixed/ready for supper so you'll have to help her and she probably won't like it. She'll probably want back inside in just a few minutes." (most littles this age do that, right?)
Abby: "Okay."
Emma was still getting dressed so she put this on Jubilee and then I carefully handed Jubilee to Abby so no one had to manage the steps with a baby in tow. Abby set her right at the edge of the porch and...
she liked it.
"I don't want to go outside. It's cold." (Oh, you mean like 50ยบ and melting?)
she really, really, really liked it.
and took off across the yard...which is surprising since I later discovered that she had only her regular clothes under the coat and no shoes or socks, just the giant mitten thick feet things at the bottom. At least Emma folded them over her toes the right way.
She discovered that the sunny snow sticks to the fence. The girls were bringing it to her and she was patting it onto the fence.
She didn't want to come in.
Just a normal day eating pizza and being monkeys.
Twins! :) (Jubilee has the 12 month size and Dolly has the 24 month size. I think they'd fit better in the other sizes, but this is the way Emma dressed them.)
My baby needs a binky too.
Oh, look! It's my drink!
My baby needs a drink, too.
I love my Dolly!
Sisters read this book a lot. It must be pretty good. I'll read it to Mommy.
A knight! :)
He's so brave! Such a fun little superhero, warrior, boy!
Noah for reference at 15.5 months. (see! It put it way down here and I can't seem to fix it today!)
Emma at 15.5 months.
Jubilee climbed up onto the cabinet, pilfered an apple, and brought it into the room with me. Then she sat up here on the stool and ate it. Doesn't she look big?
Of course others wanted in on the action.
I love this man! :) He found my computer and left this for me. ;)
She doesn't fall asleep on me a lot but if she does, it's nearly always like this. (When I'm not allowed to hold her. It has to be her own idea to sit down by me and fall asleep.)
He's playing legos. What else is there in this boy's world?
Noah and Jubilee playing with my camera on my computer.
again
Emma made "Mommy, and Aunt Sarah, and Aunt Rachel, and Aunt Liz."
again...one of those few times she fell asleep more "on" me than usual.
Abby at 15.5 months. (Now that you've seen them all, I think Jubilee looks the most like Abby at this age, but I see a lot of Noah in her too. Isaiah is complicated because, as I said, he looks soooo sooooo sooo much older for being only 2 weeks older in that picture.) and Emma, I think has a bit of Jubi, but probably the least at this particular age.
