I don't know, did I manage to do this one before or not? I didn't feel like checking.
He put on his own pajamas.... Didn't he do a good job?
He was soooooo proud! He really wanted me to take a picture because he was sooooo proud of himself!
One night, two of them crept down to our bed and this is where we found them. The third (Jubilee) I had purposely put on our bed because I wanted to feed her one more time before she went to sleep for real.
Riding a "big girl bike"
Going on the zipline
bringing it back for the next kid
Isaiah wants to try...
Nope, never mind...
He didn't manage it so Noah went next instead
Noah's turn
I think he liked it!
Pretending Jubilee gets to go on the train
Cute excited face
"Here, Jubilee! Catch!"
Is this supposed to be fun?
"Is this supposed to be fun?"
"I don't know if I like it."
*insert fake cry*
*see, I told you it was a fake cry*
"This has potential for being fun."
"Yeah, I like this."
Emma's turn
Abby and her favorite instrument
Emma and her favorite instrument
Waiting on the others to get out of VBS--This is what they were doing while I was making cornbread
Watching the program
Looking very lost and alone
...very very alone...
Isaiah is clinging to Abby here...
Fish for the garden
Noah ran by me with an empty trash bag. I went to see what he did. He was beaming. "I taked out the trash! I taked out the trash!" *um, thanks...how about next time letting me do it?* *I think I'm glad the trash wasn't more full...*
This was cuter in real life. The camera didn't capture it right. In real life, the sunlight was very golden and it looked like she was wearing a crown
Talking on the phone to Grammy
Cute smile
cute...
cuter...
what in the world is that?
Who needs a baby gate when you have so many siblings?
I said, "Abby, come here, let me see your wiggly tooth." And then I saw the tooth had grown up behind the baby tooth...
So I took a picture...
Then all the others were like, "Take a picture of me!"
and of course, they all had to open their mouths and show off their teeth too...
...even Jubi...I kid you not, she did this just like they did...just moments after I did all the others... We were headed out the door to do something and she was at my feet watching me take all their pics...and she was a captive audience because she was in her carseat already...so I guess she just learned fast
Looked over and saw her standing like this...It was cute
Not sure if she's going to fall or not
Playing ball with the other kids

This has been here for ages, but it's hardly noticeable so you don't really know it. Anyway, it's a little more visible in person. I can't really take a good picture of it.
The story goes:
When I thought she might have Trisomy 18, I prayed for peace and I felt like God answered overwhelmingly. I felt like he just touched me with peace and really after the first day or two, I wasn't worried anymore. I knew that his fingerprints were on my baby's life and I knew that he had a plan for her and even if that plan included the worst I could imagine, that he was still God and that he had made her and had numbered her days...
The first time I saw this, I felt as if it was a reminder of that. I mean, it just made me remember how peaceful I had felt and how I remembered God made Jubilee and held her life in his hands. Every time I see this little mark on her hand, I think about him "touching" her life. It's like he touched me and her and left this for us to remember. (Obviously, I know he was just as active in the other kid's creation/pregnancy/etc, but this is just kind of special and I wanted to share it.)

*Like I said, you can barely see it in these pictures and even in real life it isn't that visible, but I've seen it since she was born and it's only gotten slightly more visible as her skin has darkened and the "baby blotchiness" has gone away.*
She's Anne of Green Gables
Obviously Jubilee wanted to play the game too
...Obviously....
She thinks she's so big...because she's in a chair and I'm (sorta) not holding her...
The girls made Aslan. Can you find him?
Some of them got in trouble and are sitting in time out along the wall there.
Jubi joined them.
The kids were splashing around in the backyard
They had various amounts of water to play in... Jubilee's was only a few inches deep and I was sitting right there if she fell (which she didn't)
It was a very hot day and the water was warm enough even Jubilee liked it
The neighbor must have felt sorry for them...because after I took Jubilee in and dried her off and dressed her for a nap because she was getting cranky, the neighbor was asking me if he could give them a pool... "because they are always giving me flowers and stuff over the fence and I have had this one in my backyard for a while."
...and yes, Noah can't stand being wet...so while I was fixing Jubilee, he came in and changed clothes and then went and got wet again...and changed clothes again, at which point, I caught him and said, "Nope, you get to wear those wet ones or no swimming..."
I think she's teething.
She's not happy when I put her down...
She's not happy when I hold her...she just cries and wrestles on my lap and chews on her fingers...
She isn't happy unless she has one of these in her mouth...
a tiny popsicle...
Yeah, that's the only thing...
*and some orajel works too, but she hates the taste*
Preschool...All of these objects start with A, B, C, or D. I thought this might help Noah learn his letters since the child can't sit still long enough to watch the ABC movie the other kids learned with...
It was kind of a bust. He has the attention span of a...well, I don't know, what has a short attention span? Anyway, he kept getting distracted. We'll have to find a different way of saying "A...aaaaa....apple"...
I think I might try putting the letters on the floor and having him run to the one that says "bbb" or something like that next
He did color his worksheet I made him that had pictures of the objects we played with...and that's saying a lot because usually he colors one or two lines and then he's done
flash cards
Jubi: "This bottle doesn't have anything in it"
All the big kids wanted to do it too after we did school for a while
Abby: "Find the thing that stars with B and put it in the box."
Isaiah: "Ball. I put a Ball in the box..."
Emma: "I wanted to put a Ball in the box!"
