Nothing much different

I feel like we go through periods of time where nothing really changes...
Everything is basically the same as it was last week...and the week before...
 Reading for School

 Abby was reading to Phillip
She wanted to read the Bible story of Phillip and the Ethiopian to him.
Then she wanted to read all the other kids' stories to them. We had to get a little creative with it.  "Wisdom stands in the street calling" (for Emma) and "The year of Jubilee" for Jubi...Madeleine is the French pronunciation of Magdalene....

Cinnamon is officially one year old.  Her birthday was March 31.  The kids wanted to celebrate her birthday so she got a new toy dinosaur and a sausage with a candle in it.  The kids thought this was hilarious.  We, of course, pulled the candle out after singing to her and  blowing it out for her.

Pip was rolling around on the floor and I looked down to find that he had somehow put the blanket over his head and didn't know how to take it off.  Here's a good picture of him picking his backend off the floor though.  I tell you, he's a mover!

Noah has discovered that he can do handstands by the wall.  Jubi thinks she can too.

Phillip thinks he needs to be in whatever books the girls are reading.  He is certain he's big enough for these books.

They were shooting cars down the stairs in a cardboard tube and Pip was laughing when they appeared out of the end of the tube. He thought this was great fun.

Maddie took a nap, then came and climbed up beside me in the chair and her eyes kept rolling back up in her head.
"Are you sleepy, Maddie?"

"No."

It was funny because clearly she thought she was awake but clearly she needed just a little more sleep.  She didn't get it though because Jubi came and started messing with Pip's toys and, of course, Maddie had to be in that too so she got up and started messing around too.

"Mom take a picture of me like this."
